Glad that things are getting back on track after your travel/equipment woes. That can’t have made for a very relaxed time between shows so far!! The pics from Philly certainly show you and the horns in good form. No video screen this time around? Not that your show needs it, but it certainly added a distinct flavor to the previous tours… Good luck with the rest of the East coast whirlwind!

It’s nearly 1:15 EST in the Bronx, tying up loose ends for work and I’m so psyched for tomorrow’s gig. Technical and travel porblems are almost par for the start of any leg of a tour but I’m sure TD and the crew will carry on, my wayward sons!
My bro’ and I will be looking forward to a very memorable night a@ BB King’s and from what I’ve read about the Philly show last week and experienced from several shows this past year at the Canal Room, I can’t expect anyhting less than “WOW!” Mr. and Mrs. England, you’re next!
‘Looks like things are going well and judging by the reviews we have got a lot to look forward to in October!
Thomas, one question for you. Are the JM Horns coming with you on the UK dates?
Please do let us know.
Thanks,
Jon
Image #415 does not come up.
Other than that (and the fact I couldn’t make the World Café gig), things look great!
Yes the Jazz Mafia Horns really do add a terrific dimension to the show.
White City: I believe the Horns will be staying in the US. The UK dates are solo, as I understand it.
cheers!

Great photos! Looks like you guys are having a blast! See on Wednesday (and Friday.) Have a jacket ready — autumn has come early to our neck of the woods.
Enjoy NYC!!
Looking forward to tonight’s gig at BB Kings. Nice venue and plenty of good seats to be had. Judging from the photo’s looks like you’ve slimmed down since January when I saw you last. Wish I could say the same for myself!
Jon, it is a one man show across the pond. =)
Hmm, that’s a shame. In a previous blog entry it was hinted at that JMH may be included but if that’s not going to happen I can go ahead and play the CD!
I had not ordered it yet as I wanted to experience the first impression live. If that won’t happen it means I’v got a new Dolby disc to listen to and that aint bad!
Thanks for the info.
Jon
It looks like the us shows are going well Thomas.
We are all looking forward to your uk return.
I would say the shows are going Brilliantly!
can’t wait for Ram’s head here in a couple hours!
Well, Jon, seems that might happen, according to what Merujo posted in the forum as an update,
Great to hear the tour is going well.
Thomas,
Did you give up on your motorized kb stand?
I thought that was really trick.
