I made it into the flight right as they are about to close the doors! Yay!

    Lucky, lucky, lucky man!

(And lucky Lunesse in the No Travel Stress Zone!)

    I love BEING other places.

I’m not so keen on the “getting there” part of things anymore…

Yep, I’ve done that a few times. You know your REALLY late when you get on the plane and everyone’s seated looking at you as the plane door shuts behind !! He he, it just means you timed it right!

No shouts of ‘Science!’ this time from the pilot?

  4. When I’m rushing to and through an airport I’m humming “Flying North”.
    What do you hum?

Rock on! That seems to be the only way I ever make a flight…pesky LAX security safaris are always a bit of a…delay. Phoenix traffic is a pain as well. I figured you were hitting the road quickly after the Los Angeles show.

    Break a leg out there…break two, they’re small! :P

This reminds me of the old OJ Simpson commercials of him running and jumping through the airport. Granted, that was a rent-a-car commercial, but the visual is still the same.

I wonder if the Unicycle and Headress from the previous blog were utilized in the sucessful navigation of the airport… oh, and let’s not forget to include the coat. AH, I can see the total picture now. Potential future album cover perhaps?

    New Album
The Great Unicycle Headress Airport Controversy – featuring the hit songs Your Karma Hit My Dogma, I Live In a Suitcase (DJ Unicycle Mix), and Attack of the Big Ass Head on a Bus (Alien Mix featuring The Jazz Mafia……. ok, I REALLY need to lay off the coffee…..

Aaack! I’m retroactively stressed, fella! ;) Ah well, ya made it,
    and that’s what counts. :)

I almost missed a connecting flight to L.A. in 1998–this was back
when former president Clinton was being impeached, and I’d
never been on a plane before that day, and they had the audio
on the TVs with the CNN feed up SO LOUD near the departure
gate that I couldn’t hear the announcements! So I moved quite
near a PA speaker just in time to hear, “LAST CALL for Flight {whatever} to Los Angeles!” I just about made a puddle, but
yeah, I made it. Yeesh. ;) I think I was in Minneapolis at the time, on my way from Winnipeg to L.A. to visit friends.

    This is what I mean when I say I don’t travel well. ;) I haven’t
been on a plane since. I don’t have a fear of flying, I have
something of a fear of *airports*…not to mention %&#*ing
security!! Ye gods. But hey–I was ahead of the curve: I had
my luggage thoroughly searched before it was even ‘hip’, hee
hee. ;) Guess I was the random 50th person, or whatever. But
I was nervous ’cause I’d never been on a plane, and maybe it
    showed, I don’t know.

Peace and CD-Rs, full of iTunes music,
    Kara

Im stressing out just reading about that. You seem to have a perfectly cavalier attitude towards it though…How do you manage to hold it together? Is the airport really big or confusing or something?

I wish It was just up to the skin of My teeth…

looks like Vermont and New Hampshire are getting up to 30 more inches of snow between now and when My flight is supposed to leave at 7am (to catch your Dallas show)

    :(

I know I am out of the context but I have an interesting link for Thomas & his fans:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6QsusDS_8A

Many jazz musicians believe that people like George Duke, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones or even Thomas & Ryuichi make funky music only for money. The reason why those people believe in this is because those people have no feeling for funky (or techno-funk) groove at all.
This video shows how deep those guys are in it, how much they love and understand techno-funk groove.

    Best regards

I think Thomas should support the Police on the Reunion World Tour.
( as the member of the band … )

    Some facts:
Stewart Copeland will dj in Tokyo on April 1st at the renowned punk festival Punkspring 2007! A bunch of punk tracks will be selected by Stewart, who ‘lived’ the punk era in London back in 1977! Stewart will visit Japan to promote the dvd release of ‘Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out’ on March 31st, when the movie will be screened at the Toho Cinemas.

I know I’m borring, but I have a question for Thomas.

Do You like Brilliant Trees, Gone to Earth and Secrets of the Beehive from David Sylvian ???

    Thanks in advance
