Thomas--

As I've said before, I'm so glad to hear you talk more about TED. Although I, like most, am unable to attend, I'm so excited to see what transpires during these four days. Even if only from a distance.

I've tried so many times to explain to others what it is about TED that inspires me so, but I never seem to be able to faithfully convey just exactly what goes on. From now on I'll simply point friends to this blog post, as you've described TED like I've never been able to. Thanks!

Also, see what you can do about getting that TEDtalk with James Horner posted to the web. I immediately went over to the TED site to see if I could find it, and I don't think it's up. Yet.

Have a great week. Can't wait to read more updates from you. And (hopefully soon) see the talks up on the web.

Wow, your list of musical friends is a mile and a half long! James Horner is definitely one of our top film composers these days... very versitile in his musical palete.

I was wondering if you got to know Evelyn Glennie when she was at TED in 2003? She is SUCH an amazing musician, aside from the physical adversity she overcame to be a professional musician. A future collaboration with her would be amazing!

Nice indian headress, btw...
